Starting pay rate
$16.41-$17.24, DOQ
General:
As
listed but not limited to:
1. Responsible for ambulance service and fire
protection for The Bristol Bay Borough.
2. Perform medical procedures and assessments,
as required, in strict compliance with Standing Orders and
Protocols at level trained under
sponsoring physician
3. Responsible for vehicle inspections and
operation during assigned shift.
4. Ensure Ambulances and Fire Apparatus are
Clean, stocked and ready to respond with appropriate supplies
5. Perform janitorial duties at Fire Department
Facilities.
6. Be willing to accept on call ambulance duty
on a scheduled basis.
7. Rotating shift required.
8. Complete EMS/Fire reports.
9. While not on emergency calls may be required
to assist at local community clinic as well as work on
projects related to Fire and EMS
10. Perform duties in Hazardous Environments.
11. Perform and/or assume other job or work
related duties as assigned.
12. Report to Fire Officers
This is a temporary summer position lasting from four to seven weeks during the months of May, June, and July. Actual employment dates can be flexible and will be negotiated when hired. Transportation to King Salmon from Anchorage and return is provided, as well as housing facilities. This is a uniformed position.

Qualifications:
Must be
18 years of age,
High
School Diploma or GED,
Valid
Alaska Drivers License,
AK State
certified EMT II, EMT III with ACLS, MICP, will consider EMT-1
Prefer
certified Firefighter 1 or Higher
Designated
and/or Random Drug Testing required.
Background
and/or Security Investigation may be required.
Ability
to lift 50 lbs. to shoulder height
