About the Learning Hub
The Asset Management Learning Hub provides Alaska’s municipal, tribal, and community leaders with tools and trainings to optimize asset management practices, enhance service delivery, and contribute to the fiscal sustainability of Alaska’s communities.
On-Demand eLearning Courses
- Asset Management 101— Learn about the current state of infrastructure in Alaska and analyze some of the common asset management challenges. (CTA Pending)
- Leveraging Your Asset Data—This online course equips anyone involved in managing public infrastructure with the knowledge and tools to analyze, interpret, and apply asset data effectively. (CTA Pending)
Coming Soon:
Risk Management Essentials (RME): This 2-hour course will give you a practical, foundational understanding of Risk Management (RM). You’ll Learn how to identify, evaluate, and manage risks that could impact your services, your budget, and your community.
Work Management Systems Essentials (WMSE): This 2-hour course will give you a practical, foundational understanding of Work Management Systems. You’ll walk away with the knowledge to improve how work is managed and to ensure you get the essential data to justify resources and drive continuous improvement.
Courses are free for municipal employees and officials in Alaska.
Weekly Zoom calls covering topics related to infrastructure in Alaska. Meetings focus on asset management once every quarter.
