AML Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Project
Energy security and affordability projects will significantly enhance the quality of life in Alaska’s municipalities by reducing dependence on expensive and unstable fuel imports. These initiatives are intended to help lower energy costs for residents, especially in remote and rural communities where prices are often much higher. Through partnerships with state and federal agencies, these investments can improve quality of life, create jobs, stimulate economic growth, and build more durable infrastructure suited to the challenging environments experienced across the state.
