The Alaska Municipal League is seeking to contract with an entity capable of providing consultation services related to designing, building, analyzing, maintain and managing enterprise GIS and data platforms for use in AML and AML members’ planning, decision-support, data storage and cataloging, and more.
AML, a voluntary, nonprofit, nonpartisan statewide organization of 165 cities, boroughs (county-equivalent), and unified municipalities – is seeking proposals for a GIS & Data for Community Planning Support Services contract. This RFP is intended to gauge the interest, capacity, and capability of potential third-party contractors to partner with AML in its work across multiple planning projects, processes, and initiatives. The goal of this partnership is to create an overarching information systems and data strategy and framework that (1) develops a 5-year vision and roadmap of what GIS and Data and AML looks like for planning, and (2) is implemented through and as part of our existing portfolio of projects through Work Orders.
