We invite you to join AML and help strengthen Alaska’s local governments.

- AML provides knowledge and resources to thousands of elected officials and municipal leaders.

Associate Membership
Associate members are dues-paying supporters of AML’s mission. Associate Members have the opportunity to be part of a thriving statewide network, gain support for funding opportunities, access to shared services to build capacity, and engage with decision makers from Alaska’s 165 cities and boroughs.
Tiers are based on the employee count of the organization:
- $250 – Fewer than 5 employees
- $500 – Between 6-24 employees
- $750 – 25 or more employees
Member benefits include a complimentary copy of our Municipal Officials Directory (MOD), listing on our online Associates Directory and AML printed publications, receive AML email communications, and member rates for events and publications.
Associate membership is provided for in AML’s bylaws, and includes, “Any unincorporated community, commercial or civic club, educational or government agency, organization, or commercial firm interested in the improvement and welfare of municipal government, may be accepted by the Board as an associate of the League.”
Associate Partnership
Investment in AML ensures a high-value strategic relationship that bolsters the reputation of the Associate Partner with AML members. Associate Partners receive the same benefits as Associate Members, as well as individualized benefits and opportunities for engagement with members.
