The City and Borough of Sitka seeks candidates to join the Public Works Department team. CBS provides and contributes towards training, certification and licensing for those individuals interested in pursuing a long-term career with the City.
v Equipment Operator – $23.31 to $27.00/hour DOE/EOE
Assists the Landfill/Scrapyard Equipment Operator in all duties. Operates equipment at the Gary Paxton Industrial Park recycling scrapyard and performs related work as required including other divisions of Public Works Streets and Snow Removal; Buildings and Grounds, Water and Wastewater. Must possess or have the ability to possess a valid Alaska Class B commercial driver’s license during probationary period
